Raised in rabbit, this polyclonal reagent recognizes ROBO1 (Roundabout Guidance Receptor 1), a single-pass transmembrane receptor in the immunoglobulin cell adhesion molecule superfamily and a central component of the SLIT/ROBO axon guidance signaling pathway. ROBO1 has been characterized in developmental neurobiology, vascular patterning, and several tumor biology contexts, with published studies covering glioma, hepatocellular carcinoma, and breast cancer cell systems.

The antibody is supplied as unconjugated rabbit IgG and has been validated for Western blot (WB) detection of human ROBO1. Each vial contains 200 µl of liquid stock, sufficient for multiple immunoblotting runs on whole-cell or tissue lysates. Because ROBO1 is a large multi-domain receptor, a polyclonal preparation offers broader epitope coverage than a single monoclonal reagent, which is useful when working with partially degraded or limited samples.

General handling for IgG reagents of this type: aliquot the stock upon first use and store at -20 °C; protect from light and limit freeze-thaw cycles to preserve binding activity. Working dilutions for immunoblotting typically fall between 1:500 and 1:2,000 depending on target abundance, with optimization against the specific lysate and detection chemistry in use. The unconjugated format allows pairing with either HRP- or fluorophore-labeled secondary antibodies, giving flexibility in detection method.
