ROBO1 (Roundabout Guidance Receptor 1) is a single-pass transmembrane receptor central to axon guidance and neuronal pathfinding during nervous system development, where it engages SLIT ligands to mediate axon repulsion. Beyond developmental neurobiology, the SLIT–ROBO1 signaling axis is heavily investigated in cancer research because altered ROBO1 expression contributes to tumor angiogenesis, cell invasion, and metastatic progression in carcinomas of the breast, lung, and pancreas.

This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against the human ROBO1 protein and supplied as 100 µl of antiserum validated for western blot detection. Researchers commonly load 10–50 µg of total cell or tissue lysate per lane, separate proteins by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, and visualize ROBO1 immunoreactivity using HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies with chemiluminescent substrates. The antibody is also cited in studies of cortical axon pathfinding, neuronal differentiation models, autism spectrum disorder, dyslexia, and glioblastoma invasion.
