Anti-RNPEP Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com targets arginyl aminopeptidase (aminopeptidase B), a Zn²⁺-dependent cytosolic metalloaminopeptidase that selectively trims N-terminal arginine and lysine residues from peptide substrates. The unconjugated antibody is supplied as 100 µL of affinity-purified antiserum and is validated for Western blot detection of the ~72 kDa endogenous target across human, mouse, and rat samples, including cell lysates and tissue homogenates. RNPEP participates in leukotriene A4 hydrolysis and peptide hormone processing, so the reagent supports studies of N-terminal peptide trimming, cytosolic protein turnover, and aminopeptidase activity. The polyclonal format offers broader epitope coverage than a monoclonal clone, which is useful when probing the full-length enzyme in multiple species.
