Anti-RNF5 Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody to RNF5/NG2, unconjugated and supplied as a liquid by Antibodies.com. Raised in rabbit and purified by affinity chromatography, the reagent is of the IgG isotype and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

The antibody was generated against a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 1–120 of human RNF5 (NP_008844.1). It is validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), with recommended dilutions of WB: 1:500–1:2,000, IHC: 1:50–1:200 and ICC/IF: 1:50–1:100. The target protein has a molecular weight of 21 kDa.

The formulation is Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, with 50% Glycerol and 0.02% Sodium Azide. The product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. Supporting images from the manufacturer show Western blot detection at 1:1,000 dilution on various cell line extracts (25 µg per lane, ECL Basic Kit, 30 s exposure), alongside IHC staining at 1:100 on paraffin-embedded rat liver, human liver cancer and mouse heart, performed with microwave antigen retrieval in 10 mM PBS buffer pH 7.2.
