Anti-RNF40 Antibody

This is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against RNF40 (Ring finger protein 40), available from Antibodies.com. It is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with a stated purity of > 95% by SDS-PAGE. The antibody is unconjugated.

The reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications, and is reactive with human, mouse and rat samples. The manufacturer states that the antibody detects endogenous levels of RNF40 protein, with an observed molecular weight of ~114 kDa. The immunogen used was recombinant full-length human RNF40.

RNF40 is a nuclear protein with a subcellular location of the nucleoplasm and low tissue specificity, encoded on human chromosome 16. The mouse ortholog Rnf40 is also recognised by the antibody in validated applications, consistent with the listed species reactivity.
