Anti-RNF2 Antibody

This Rabbit polyclonal antibody targets RNF2 (Ring Finger Protein 2), the catalytic E3 ubiquitin ligase also known as RING1B that monoubiquitinates histone H2A at Lys119 and serves as a core subunit of Polycomb Repressive Complex 1 (PRC1). Researchers apply it across Western blot to detect endogenous RING1B expression, immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence to localize PRC1 components in tissue sections and cultured cells, immunoprecipitation to isolate RING1B-containing protein complexes, and chromatin immunoprecipitation to profile RNF2 occupancy at Polycomb response elements and CpG islands.

Validated on human, mouse, and rat samples, the unconjugated reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, packaged as a 100 µl vial.
