Anti-RND2 Antibody

The polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets RND2, an atypical Rho GTPase that, unlike most Rho family members, remains constitutively GTP-bound and participates in semaphorin 4D / Plexin-B1 receptor signaling. It contributes to actin cytoskeleton remodeling, centrosome positioning, and neuronal migration during cortical development. Raised in rabbit, this unconjugated reagent is supplied as 100 µl at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline containing 15 mM sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, and is validated for western blot detection across human, mouse, and rat samples.

RND2 expression is most prominent in developing brain tissue, where it controls Golgi apparatus positioning and the timing of neuronal differentiation. Researchers studying axon guidance, primary cilia assembly, or focal adhesion turnover use RND2-specific antibodies to probe lysates from neural cell lines, primary neuron cultures, and brain homogenates. To preserve activity, store refrigerated upon arrival and aliquot into working volumes to limit freeze-thaw cycles; the unconjugated format supports flexible choice of secondary labels for downstream western blot imaging.
