Anti-RLN3 Antibody

Raised in rabbit against the relaxin-3 neuropeptide, this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline containing 15 mM sodium azide, pH approximately 7.2, and is packaged in a 100 µl vial. RLN3 is the ancestral ligand of the relaxin/insulin peptide superfamily and is predominantly expressed by neurons of the nucleus incertus in the brainstem, where it signals through the RXFP3 G-protein-coupled receptor to modulate stress responses, feeding behavior, arousal, and spatial memory.

The antibody is validated for Western Blot (WB) applications and shows reactivity against both human and mouse RLN3, supporting comparative studies of relaxin-3 expression in neuroendocrine and central nervous system tissues.
