Ribosomal Protein L28 (RPL28) is a constituent of the 60S large ribosomal subunit that contributes to assembly and stabilization of the ribonucleoprotein complex during cytoplasmic translation. This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum, validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and ELISA workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples.

Because RPL28 participates in ribosome biogenesis, investigators deploy antibodies against it to monitor translational capacity, nucleolar stress responses, and altered protein synthesis in tumor and developmental biology models. The polyclonal format recognizes multiple epitopes on the L28 protein, an advantage when working with limited antigen, fixed tissue, or samples carrying post-translational modifications.

Handle as a standard polyclonal antibody: aliquot on arrival to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and protect from light during storage. The unconjugated presentation allows end users to conjugate the reagent themselves to HRP, Alexa Fluor dyes, or biotin, supporting chromogenic western blot detection, immunofluorescent localization, or signal-amplified IHC protocols in their own laboratories.
