This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets RHOF (Rho family GTPase F, also called Rif), a small GTP-binding protein of the Rho family best known for its role in driving actin cytoskeleton reorganization and filopodia formation at the cell periphery. The reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, and is packaged as a 100 µL aliquot for routine western blot use.

Validated for western blot (WB) applications, the antibody is reactive against human, mouse, and rat RHOF and is offered in an unconjugated format that lets users pair it with their own HRP, fluorophore, or biotin secondary reagents. Investigators studying cell migration, membrane protrusion dynamics, invadopodia biology, and Rho GTPase signalling in cancer cell motility and metastasis use this reagent to detect endogenous RHOF expression in whole-cell lysates, tumour-derived samples, and tissue homogenates.

As a polyclonal reagent, the antibody recognizes multiple epitopes across the RHOF target, which is useful when probing for the full-length protein in different species and sample types. The 0.05% sodium azide in the buffer helps inhibit microbial contamination during working use; store refrigerated between uses and protect from light to preserve activity over the lifetime of the vial.
