This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets Rho GDP-dissociation inhibitor 1 (RhoGDI1, also called ARHGDIA), a cytosolic regulator of Rho family GTPases that controls actin cytoskeleton remodeling, cell migration, and adhesion signaling. The antibody was raised in rabbit and is supplied unconjugated at 100 µg per vial, enabling western blot detection of the ~23 kDa RhoGDI1 protein and immunohistochemistry on human tissue sections where it reveals cytoplasmic distribution in epithelial and immune cells. The reagent is validated for human samples and works well in lysate-based applications where RhoGDI1 is examined alongside its binding partners such as RhoA, Rac1, and Cdc42, which it normally retains in the inactive cytosolic pool before membrane translocation. Researchers studying cytoskeletal dynamics, tumor cell invasion, and immune cell chemotaxis use this reagent to probe how RhoGDI1 expression and phosphorylation state shift between normal and disease states, including several carcinomas in which RhoGDI1 levels are reported to be dysregulated.
