Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody from Antibodies.com raised against the Rho GTPase subfamily RhoA, RhoB, and RhoC. The 50 µl unconjugated reagent is formulated in 1×TBS (pH 7.4) with 1% BSA, 40% glycerol, and 0.05% sodium azide as preservative, and is validated for use in western blot, immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry on human, mouse, and rat samples.

Rho family GTPases function as binary molecular switches that cycle between an active GTP-bound state and an inactive GDP-bound state, acting through downstream effectors such as ROCK, mDia, and citron kinase to remodel the actin cytoskeleton. They drive stress fiber assembly, focal adhesion maturation, and membrane ruffling in response to growth factors, integrins, and G-protein-coupled receptor signaling, and are central to research on cell migration, invasion, cytokinesis, and epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition.

Researchers commonly pair this reagent with Rho-binding domain (RBD) pull-down assays to distinguish active from inactive GTPase pools in cell lysates, apply it to tumor tissue microarrays to score Rho isoform expression across patient samples, and use it on neuronal or vascular smooth muscle preparations to investigate axon guidance and contractile signaling.

Store the vial at -20 °C and aliquot on receipt to limit freeze-thaw cycles; the 40% glycerol cryoprotectant keeps the antibody in a liquid state at -20 °C. For short-term handling, refrigerate at 4 °C and protect from light. Supplied as a single vial for research use only.
