Anti-RGS8 Antibody

This polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com targets RGS8 (Regulator of G-protein Signaling 8), a GTPase-activating protein that accelerates intrinsic GTP hydrolysis on heterotrimeric G-protein alpha subunits and terminates downstream G-protein coupled receptor signaling. RGS8 is expressed predominantly in the central nervous system, with the highest transcript levels in cerebellar Purkinje neurons, where it modulates mu-opioid and dopamine receptor pathways.

Raised in rabbit and supplied as an IgG isotype in unconjugated form, the reagent is validated for Western blot detection of endogenous RGS8 in human, mouse, and rat samples. Each vial contains 50 µl of antibody stock, sufficient for multiple immunoblot experiments following standard SDS-PAGE separation and chemiluminescent or colorimetric substrate development.
