RGS4 (Regulator of G-protein Signaling 4) is a GTPase-activating protein that accelerates GTP hydrolysis on heterotrimeric G-protein α subunits, terminating GPCR-driven signaling cascades. This unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised in rabbit and is validated for western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human samples. The antibody is supplied as a 100 µL liquid aliquot compatible with multiplex labeling workflows and downstream detection using HRP, fluorescent, or biotin-conjugated secondary reagents. Investigators commonly apply anti-RGS4 antibodies to study G-protein regulation in neuronal tissue, examine expression changes in psychiatric disorder models, and probe signaling cross-talk in cancer cell lines. Each preparation is affinity-purified to reduce off-target background and to deliver consistent lot-to-lot performance across blotting membranes and fixed tissue sections.
