RGS20 (Regulator of G-protein Signaling 20) is a GTPase-activating protein that accelerates GTP hydrolysis on Gα subunits, terminating G-protein coupled signaling cascades. This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against RGS20 and validated for Western blot detection of the endogenous protein in human, mouse, and rat samples.

Supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a stabilizing cryoprotectant, the unconjugated antibody is packaged as a 100 µl vial. The polyclonal format exposes multiple epitopes across the target, which is useful when probing full-length RGS20 expression in brain and peripheral tissues where this regulator is naturally abundant.

Working dilutions should be optimized empirically for each Western blot system and lysate preparation. Store the vial refrigerated at 4 °C for short-term use, and aliquot to limit freeze-thaw cycles for longer-term storage at -20 °C. Because the reagent is unconjugated, it can be paired with any HRP- or fluorophore-labeled secondary, giving flexibility in detection chemistry across immunoblotting workflows.

Researchers studying G-protein coupled receptor desensitization, neuronal signaling pathways, or RGS-family expression profiling will find this primary antibody a straightforward detection reagent for interrogating RGS20 levels across model systems.
