This polyclonal primary antibody targets Regulator of G-protein Signaling 1 (RGS1), a GTPase-activating protein that accelerates GTP hydrolysis on heterotrimeric G-protein alpha subunits such as G-alpha-i and G-alpha-q. Raised in rabbit hosts and supplied unconjugated as a 100 ul vial, the reagent is validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry on human and mouse specimens. Because RGS1 modulates B-lymphocyte chemotaxis and is implicated in homing to secondary lymphoid organs, the antibody supports investigations of immune cell trafficking, B-cell receptor signaling, and tumor microenvironment biology. Antibodies.com offers it as a research-use-only reagent for studies of G-protein-coupled receptor desensitization. Store at -20 degrees C in single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and thaw on ice before each western blot or immunohistochemistry run. The polyclonal format recognizes multiple epitopes on the ~25 kDa target protein, providing broader reactivity across varied sample preparations.
