RFTN1 (Raftlin, Lipid Raft Linker 1) is a transmembrane protein that anchors and organizes lipid raft microdomains on the plasma membrane, with documented roles in B cell receptor signaling and immune synapse biology. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied in a 100 µl vial and validated specifically for Western blot applications across human, mouse, and rat samples.

As a polyclonal antibody, the reagent recognizes multiple epitopes on the RFTN1 target, which can improve tolerance to minor sequence variation between species orthologs and provide more robust signal than a single-epitope monoclonal in denatured western blot workflows. The unconjugated format leaves the choice of secondary detection open, allowing researchers to pair the antibody with HRP-, alkaline phosphatase-, or fluorophore-conjugated secondaries as their imaging system requires.

For blotting workflows, the antibody is intended for use as a primary antibody at empirically determined dilutions. Storage recommendations are to keep the vial refrigerated at 4 °C for routine use, or aliquot and freeze at -20 °C for longer-term storage while avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles that degrade polyclonal IgG preparations.
