RFFL is a membrane-anchored E3 ubiquitin ligase (also called CARP-2) that regulates apoptosis and NF-kB signaling by targeting substrates such as caspase-8, caspase-10, and p53 for proteasomal turnover. This unconjugated Rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against human RFFL and is validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence workflows, allowing detection of the endogenous ~40 kDa protein in both denatured lysates and fixed cell preparations. It is supplied as a 100 µl aliquot of antiserum, a format that fits comfortably into standard mini-gel loading schemes and typical IF staining volumes. Because the immunogen region is conserved in commonly used human lines such as HEK293, HeLa, and U2OS, researchers apply it to monitor RFFL abundance after TNF-alpha stimulation, genotoxic stress, or in viral infection models where the ligase modulates innate immune outputs. The polyclonal composition gives broader epitope coverage than a monoclonal reagent, which is helpful when probing alternatively spliced isoforms or post-translationally modified RFFL species produced during apoptosis induction.
