Replication Factor C Subunit 4 (RFC4) functions as a core component of the RFC loader complex that clamps PCNA onto primed DNA during S-phase replication, supporting Okazaki fragment processing and multiple DNA repair pathways, and this rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com was raised to detect that target directly in Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows. Supplied as a 100 µL unconjugated aliquot, the reagent cross-reacts with human, mouse, and rat RFC4, allowing comparative studies across cell cycle progression, replication stress, and chromatin biology models. Because elevated RFC4 expression has been documented in glioma, hepatocellular carcinoma, and colorectal tumor specimens, the antibody is also deployed as a proliferation-linked marker in tumor pathology panels, where its polyclonal format broadens epitope coverage and improves detection in nuclear and chromatin-enriched fractions prepared from both fresh-frozen and formalin-fixed samples.
