Raised in rabbit as a polyclonal reagent, this unconjugated anti-RXRγ antibody from Antibodies.com is supplied as 100 µL of liquid, allowing researchers to choose their own secondary conjugate for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, or immunofluorescence detection. Retinoid X Receptor γ is a ligand-activated transcription factor of the nuclear receptor superfamily that forms obligate heterodimers with class B partners such as retinoic acid receptors, thyroid hormone receptors, vitamin D receptor, and PPARs, influencing gene programs linked to metabolism, cell differentiation, and neural development.

The reagent is validated for use on human, mouse, and rat samples, and cross-reactivity across these three species makes it practical for comparative studies spanning cell line work, primary rodent tissue, and human biopsy material. Common applications include mapping RXRγ distribution in skeletal muscle and selected neuronal populations, probing heterodimer assembly by co-immunoprecipitation or proximity ligation assays, and tracking receptor levels during differentiation, injury, or pharmacological treatment.

Each vial contains 100 µL of polyclonal rabbit IgG in a buffered carrier that can be diluted directly into standard immunostaining or immunoblotting protocols.
