Raised in rabbit, this unconjugated polyclonal primary antibody targets Retinoic Acid Receptor β (RARβ), a nuclear receptor that mediates transcriptional responses to retinoic acid through binding at retinoic acid response elements (RAREs). The reagent from Antibodies.com is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on human samples, supplied as 100 µl of antiserum suitable for chromogenic and chemiluminescent detection strategies.
RARβ plays a documented role in epithelial differentiation, hematopoiesis, and as a candidate tumor suppressor frequently silenced by epigenetic mechanisms in lung and other cancers. Researchers investigating retinoic acid signaling pathways, nuclear receptor function, or cancer epigenetics use this reagent in studies of transcriptional regulation, tissue-specific gene expression, and disease models where RARβ activity is interrogated by immunoblotting tissue lysates or staining fixed sections.
