Replication protein A (RPA) is a heterotrimeric single-stranded DNA-binding complex central to DNA replication, repair, and recombination in eukaryotic cells. The 32 kDa subunit, also known as RPA2, is the principal target of DNA-damage-dependent phosphorylation by ATR and ATM kinases, and its phosphorylation status is widely used as a biomarker of replication stress in laboratory research.

Supplied by Antibodies.com, this polyclonal reagent was raised in rabbit and is delivered as an unconjugated, affinity-purified preparation in a 100 µg vial. It recognizes the human RPA2 subunit and supports two routine immunoassay workflows: western blot detection of endogenous RPA2 and its phosphorylated isoforms, and immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed tissue sections. The host species is rabbit, the clonality is polyclonal, and the conjugate is unconjugated, leaving the choice of secondary reagent and label to the end user.

Typical research applications include monitoring RPA32 expression across the cell cycle, probing the cellular response to UV or ionizing radiation, mapping subnuclear localization of replication foci during S phase, and characterizing repair-pathway engagement following chemotherapy-induced DNA damage. The reagent is intended for research use only and has not been validated for diagnostic procedures.
