Raised in rabbit and purified by affinity chromatography, this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is directed against the Renin Receptor (also known as ATP6AP2 / ATP6IP2 / CAPER), a single-pass accessory subunit of the vacuolar H⁺-ATPase that is widely studied in the context of the renin–angiotensin system, Wnt signalling, and lysosomal acidification. The antibody is supplied as a 50 µl aliquot at approximately 1 mg/ml in phosphate-buffered saline (pH ≈ 7.2) containing 0.05% sodium azide as preservative, and it is unconjugated, allowing it to be paired with the user's preferred secondary detection reagent. The host species is rabbit, the clonality is polyclonal, and the immunoglobulin class is IgG. It has been validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications and shows reactivity against human, mouse, and rat samples, making it suitable for cross-species studies of Renin Receptor biology in cell and tissue lysates. For best results, blot and section staining should be performed following standard protocols after appropriate titration; the recommended working dilutions can be optimised by the end user. The product is intended for research use only and should be stored refrigerated (typically 2–8 °C) for short-term use, with longer-term storage at –20 °C in working aliquots to minimise repeated freeze–thaw cycles, consistent with the formulation buffer described above.
