The renin receptor, also known as ATP6AP2 or the (pro)renin receptor, is a single-pass transmembrane accessory protein that binds both renin and prorenin. It participates in the renin-angiotensin system, contributes to vacuolar H+-ATPase assembly, and modulates Wnt/beta-catenin signalling, making it a target of interest in cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic disease research. Antibodies.com provides this affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal reagent for laboratories characterising these pathways.

Supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (approx. pH 7.2) with 0.05% sodium azide, the reagent is provided in a 100 ul vial. It is validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry and shows reactivity against human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting cross-species work on tissue sections and protein lysates.

For handling, store at 4 degrees C for short-term use and aliquot for storage at -20 degrees C to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Protect from light during use. Researchers investigating hypertension, diabetic nephropathy, V-ATPase-related disorders, or non-canonical Wnt signalling will find this reagent well suited to standard immunodetection workflows.
