Anti-Renin Antibody

Renin is the aspartyl protease secreted by renal juxtaglomerular cells that cleaves angiotensinogen to angiotensin I, the rate-limiting step of the renin-angiotensin system that regulates blood pressure, sodium balance, and vascular tone.
