Anti-RENBP Antibody

This unconjugated polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com was raised in rabbit against human Renin Binding Protein (RENBP), a multifunctional enzyme also annotated as N-acylglucosamine 2-epimerase. RENBP participates in renin sequestration within the renin–angiotensin system and in early steps of N-acylglucosamine biosynthesis, making it a relevant target for studies of blood pressure regulation, renal physiology, and glycation biology.

Supplied as 200 µL of antiserum in a vial, the antibody is validated for Western blot detection of human RENBP in cell and tissue lysates. Investigators use the reagent to track expression changes in response to metabolic or pharmacological challenge, and to characterize RENBP localization in renal and hepatic samples.
