This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against the human transcription factor c-Rel (also known as REL), specifically recognising the phosphorylated serine 503 residue (phospho S503). c-Rel is a member of the NF-κB/Rel family that regulates lymphocyte proliferation, cytokine gene expression, and innate and adaptive immune signalling, so a phospho-specific reagent lets researchers follow pathway activation rather than steady-state total REL protein.

The reagent is supplied as a 100 µl aliquot in a vial and is intended for immunofluorescence (IF) workflows on human samples. It is unconjugated, so it pairs with standard anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibodies conjugated to fluorophores such as Alexa Fluor, FITC, or Cy3. The antibody is of the IgG isotype and was raised in rabbit as a polyclonal reagent. For best stability, store at -20°C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles and protect from light during use. Typical uses include fixed-cell immunofluorescence to visualise nuclear c-Rel accumulation in stimulated lymphocytes and to characterise NF-κB activation downstream of B-cell receptor, T-cell receptor, or toll-like receptor engagement in models of inflammation and adaptive immunity.
