Anti-REG3A Antibody

Supplied by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody, this polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit and is of the IgG isotype, presented unconjugated. It targets REG3A and has been validated for Western Blotting (WB) and Immunohistochemistry (IHC), reacting with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. The concentration is lot specific, and the product is supplied as a liquid preparation.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 27-175 of human REG3A (NP_002571.1), and the antibody is provided in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, with 50% Glycerol and 0.02% Sodium Azide. Affinity purification has been used in its preparation, and the molecular weight is reported as 14 - 15 kDa.

For storage, the product is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles. Recommended dilutions are WB: 1:500-1:2,000 and IHC: 1:50-1:200. REG3A is also known by several synonyms, including Hepatointestinal pancreatic protein, HIP/PAP, Pancreatitis-associated protein 1 (PAP/PAP1), Reg III-alpha, REG-3-alpha, Human proislet peptide, and Regenerating islet-derived protein 3-alpha.
