Anti-RECK Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against the RECK protein, available from Antibodies.com as a primary antibody for western blotting. The unconjugated IgG reagent is produced in rabbit and validated for WB applications, with reactivity confirmed against human, mouse and rat samples. It is purified by affinity chromatography and supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal. The target protein migrates at a reported molecular weight of 106 kDa.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 110–210 of human RECK (NP_066934.1), with the sequence ALECRQACKQASSKNDISKVCRKEYENALFSCISRNEMGSVCCSYAGHHTNCREYCQAIFRTDSSPGPSQIKAVENYCASISPQLIHCVNNYTQSYPMRNP. The recommended WB dilution range is 1:500–1:2,000. A representative validation blot shows analysis of extracts of various cell lines at 1:1,000 dilution, with lysates loaded at 25 µg per lane, detected using a Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) secondary antibody at 1:10,000 dilution in 3% non-fat dry milk in TBST, visualised with an ECL Enhanced Kit and a 60 s exposure.

The antibody is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted upon delivery and stored at −20°C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles. It is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
