Anti-RDM1 Antibody

Raised in rabbit and purified as an unconjugated polyclonal preparation, this primary antibody targets RDM1 (RAD52 Motif Containing 1), a DNA damage response factor involved in homologous recombination repair and the cellular handling of double-strand breaks. The reagent is supplied by Antibodies.com at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (approximately pH 7.3) with 0.05% sodium azide as a preservative, and is packaged as a 100 µl vial sized for repeated experiments.

Validated for WB on human, mouse, and rat samples, the antibody recognizes endogenous RDM1 in whole-cell or tissue lysates. RDM1 carries a RAD52-like motif and is expressed at higher levels in testicular samples than in many other tissues, with induction reported after genotoxic stress, making the reagent useful for studies of DNA repair pathway engagement, double-strand break processing, and tumor-cell responses to chemotherapeutics that exploit homologous recombination defects.

Standard western blot workflows load 20 to 40 µg of total protein per lane on SDS-PAGE, transfer to PVDF or nitrocellulose, and probe with empirically determined dilutions; blocking in 5% non-fat milk or BSA is recommended.
