Rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody raised against RBX1 (RING-box protein 1, also called ROC1), the small RING-finger subunit of the Cullin-RING E3 ubiquitin ligase complex that drives substrate ubiquitination and proteasomal turnover in eukaryotic cells. Supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated, affinity-purified reagent in a 50 µl volume, this polyclonal antibody is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF) detection of endogenous RBX1 in human and mouse samples.

RBX1 scaffolds the catalytic core of cullin-RING ligases (CRLs) by bridging the cullin scaffold to the E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme, making it a critical determinant of ubiquitin chain assembly on substrates such as p21, p27, IκBα, and NRF2. The reagent is therefore useful for studies of cell cycle progression, NF-κB signaling, oxidative stress response, and targeted protein degradation research, including work involving molecular glues, PROTACs, and thalidomide-class cereblon modulators that rewire cullin-RING ligase substrate specificity.

Provided as a liquid polyclonal IgG, the antibody is unconjugated for flexibility with secondary antibody choice and standard chemiluminescent or fluorescent detection workflows. Recommended applications include Western blot analysis of whole-cell lysates to confirm CRL complex integrity and immunofluorescence staining to monitor subcellular distribution of RBX1 between the nucleus and cytoplasm. Refrigerate handled aliquots and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve antibody activity across multiple experiments.
