This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit against the RBMX (RNA Binding Motif X-linked) protein, a 43 kDa RNA-binding factor encoded on Xq26 and involved in constitutive and regulated pre-mRNA splicing as part of the hnRNP G ribonucleoprotein complex. The antibody is supplied as an unconjugated preparation in a 100 µL vial and supports western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on human samples.
RBMX contributes to spliceosome assembly and modulates alternative splicing decisions through its RNA recognition motif, and published studies have linked its disruption to X-linked intellectual disability. Researchers investigating splicing regulation, hnRNP-associated complexes, or the impact of RBMX loss on neural and germline transcripts may find this reagent useful for exploratory work. Suggested starting dilution ranges should be optimized empirically per detection system; aliquoting upon first use is recommended to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve binding titre across long-term storage.
