RBM4 (RNA Binding Motif Protein 4) is an RNA-binding protein that regulates alternative pre-mRNA splicing, modulates cap-dependent translation, and contributes to circadian rhythm timing in mammalian cells. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as a 200 µl aliquot and has been validated for western blot detection of the human target.

Researchers apply it to investigate post-transcriptional gene regulation, exon inclusion patterns in reporter minigenes, and stress-granule associated translation control where RBM4 plays a documented role. The antibody is used to compare RBM4 expression across cancer cell lines, to track isoform switching during myogenic differentiation, and to probe neuronal tissue where the protein influences developmental splicing programs.

The polyclonal format recognizes multiple epitopes on RBM4, improving detection of alternatively spliced variants and post-translationally modified forms that single-clone reagents may miss. Refrigerate on receipt; for longer projects, aliquot and freeze to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Intended for research use only in vitro applications such as western blot of cell lysates and tissue extracts.
