RBL2, also known as p130, is a pocket-family tumor suppressor that governs the G1/S cell cycle checkpoint and maintains cellular quiescence in differentiated tissue, and is frequently studied alongside RB1 and RBL1 in retinoblastoma-pathway research. This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against RBL2 and supplied as 100 µl at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2. The unconjugated format allows direct integration into Western blot workflows that pair a labelled secondary reagent with chemiluminescent or fluorescent detection, and the polyclonal format provides recognition of multiple epitopes across the target, which is useful when probing phosphorylated or isoform variants of the protein.

Reactivity has been validated for human, mouse, and rat RBL2, supporting comparative studies in cancer biology, senescence, differentiation, and cell cycle research where pocket-protein status and E2F-pathway activity are interrogated. Sodium azide is included as a microbial preservative; the reagent should be handled with appropriate laboratory safety practice. Aliquoting on first use is recommended to limit repeated freeze-thaw events if extended storage is required.
