Anti-RBBP5 (1C9) Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com as a primary monoclonal reagent for research use, this 50 µL aliquot of the anti-RBBP5 clone 1C9 is raised in mouse and purified from ascites by antigen-affinity chromatography to ≥95% purity (by SDS-PAGE). The unconjugated IgG2a antibody is supplied as a 1 mg/mL liquid preparation in 0.1 M Tris-Glycine buffer (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 50% glycerol and 0.2% sodium azide, and should be stored short term at 4 °C or long term at −20 °C in single-use aliquots to avoid freeze/thaw cycles. It was generated against purified recombinant human RBBP5 protein fragments expressed in E. coli, and has been validated for Western blotting at a working dilution around 1:1000 and for immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) at 1:50–1:200 on cultured cells. The reagent cross-reacts with human, mouse and rat samples, making it suited to chromatin and histone-methyltransferase studies that monitor RBBP5 in the MLL/SET1 complex across multiple model systems.
