Anti-Rb (phospho S807 + S811) Antibody

Offered by Antibodies.com, this is a rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody raised against the retinoblastoma protein (Rb), specifically recognizing the phosphorylated epitopes Ser807 and Ser811. The antibody is unconjugated and supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide.

It has been validated for Western blot (WB) applications, with a recommended dilution range of 1:500 to 1:2,000. The immunogen used to generate the antibody is a synthetic phosphorylated peptide spanning residues around S807 and S811 of human RB (NP_000312.2), corresponding to the immunogen sequence SPLKS. The target protein runs at a molecular weight of 120 kDa, and the antibody has been purified by affinity chromatography.

Reactivity has been demonstrated against Human samples, and the manufacturer additionally reports reactivity with Mouse and Rat samples. The antibody is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C upon delivery, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
