Anti-Rb (Ab-807) Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent targets the retinoblastoma tumor suppressor protein (Rb), also known by the synonyms RB1, pRb, p105-Rb, p110-RB1, and pp110. It is raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 805–809 (Y-I-S-P-L) of human Rb and is affinity-purified using epitope-specific peptide chromatography. Supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µl volume, the antibody is unconjugated and presented in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol, without Mg²⁺ or Ca²⁺. The reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) and cross-reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, detecting endogenous levels of total Rb protein regardless of phosphorylation state at the immunizing epitope. Storage and handling instructions are straightforward: the vial ships at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C upon receipt, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
