RASSF5 (Ras Association Domain Family Member 5), also known as NORE1 or RAPL, is a tumor suppressor protein that participates in Ras-dependent signaling, the Hippo pathway, and lymphocyte adhesion. This unconjugated Rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as 100 µl of antibody at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% Sodium Azide and 50% Glycerol, a glycerol-rich buffer suited to frozen storage and repeated freeze-thaw handling.

The antibody is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry, and cross-reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, making it useful for comparative studies of RASSF5 expression across model organisms and clinical specimens. Its polyclonal format increases the likelihood of recognizing multiple epitopes within the RASSF5 protein, an advantage when probing truncated isoforms such as NORE1A and NORE1B or assessing expression changes linked to Ras-driven oncogenesis and T-cell activation.

Typical applications include validating RASSF5 knockdown or overexpression in cell culture models, mapping tissue distribution by immunohistochemistry, and confirming endogenous interactions by Western blot. For best results, aliquot upon receipt to limit freeze-thaw cycles and store at -20 °C; the included Sodium Azide preserves the solution for short-term bench use while the 50% Glycerol cryoprotectant maintains antibody stability during routine handling.
