The Antibodies.com polyclonal antibody is raised against Ras-related GTP-binding protein A (RRAGA, also called RagA), a small GTPase in the Rag subfamily of Ras-related GTPases. RRAGA pairs with RRAGC to recruit mTORC1 to the lysosomal surface in response to amino acid availability, linking nutrient sensing to cell growth, protein synthesis, and the regulation of autophagy. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent is reactive with the human protein and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on human samples. The unconjugated format leaves detection chemistry open, so the antibody can be paired with HRP, fluorophore, or biotinylated secondary reagents to suit individual experimental designs. Supplied at 100 µg per vial for research use only, the polyclonal preparation recognizes multiple epitopes on RRAGA, increasing the likelihood of detection across conditions where post-translational modification or minor sequence variation might otherwise reduce signal in a monoclonal preparation.
