Anti-RARRES1 Antibody

Produced in rabbit as an unconjugated polyclonal antiserum, this Antibodies.com reagent targets RARRES1, a retinoic-acid-responsive protein also known as TIG1 (Tazarotene Induced Gene 1) that has been characterized as a tumor suppressor downregulated in prostate, breast, and several other epithelial cancers. The antibody recognizes the human protein and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry, making it useful for profiling RARRES1 expression in cell lysates and formalin-fixed tissue sections where loss of expression is being investigated in tumor versus matched normal samples. Supplied as 100 µl of liquid antiserum, it can be applied directly to immunoblotting workflows for detection of the endogenous protein and to IHC for examining localization in tissue architecture.
