Anti-RARA Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody targeting RARA (Retinoic Acid Receptor alpha), supplied unconjugated by Antibodies.com for use in Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence applications. The reagent is raised in rabbit, is of the IgG isotype, and shows reactivity with human, mouse, and rat samples.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 1–457 of human RARα (NP_001019980.1). The antibody is supplied as a liquid in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal, and is purified by affinity chromatography. Reported molecular weight for the target is 60 kDa, with concentration provided as lot specific.

Recommended starting dilutions are 1:500–1:1,000 for Western blot and 1:50–1:200 for ICC/IF. The product is shipped at 4 °C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
