Anti-RAPSN Antibody

RAPSN (receptor-associated protein of the synapse), also known as rapsyn or the 43 kDa postsynaptic protein, anchors nicotinic acetylcholine receptors at the neuromuscular junction, and Antibodies.com supplies an unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody targeting this protein for research applications.

This reagent is provided as 100 µl at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, formulated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human, mouse, and rat samples. The polyclonal clonality supports recognition of multiple epitopes on the target, useful for probing fixed tissue sections in IHC and detecting denatured protein bands in WB.

Storage at -20°C in the glycerol-containing buffer preserves activity across freeze-thaw cycles; aliquoting on receipt is recommended to limit repeated freeze-thaw exposure. The included sodium azide makes the reagent unsuitable for direct addition to live-cell staining without washing.
