RAP2A is a small GTPase in the Ras superfamily that regulates intracellular vesicle transport, cell adhesion dynamics, and cytoskeletal remodeling at the leading edge of migrating cells. Polyclonal antibodies raised against this target are commonly used in signaling studies to probe the spatial distribution of Rap-family activation across tissues and transformed cell lines.

Provided by Antibodies.com, this unconjugated reagent is generated in rabbit hosts using IgG-class immunoglobulins, and is supplied as a 100 µl liquid aliquot ready for routine immunoblotting workflows. It was raised to recognize both human and mouse RAP2A, supporting comparative work between patient-derived samples and standard murine disease models in oncology, vascular biology, and neuroscience research programs.

Validated specifically for Western blot detection, the antibody allows visualization of endogenous RAP2A expression levels in whole-cell lysates, tissue homogenates, and fractionated membrane preparations. Its polyclonal character enables recognition of multiple epitopes on the target, which is helpful when distinguishing closely related Rap paralogs such as RAP2B and RAP2C that share substantial sequence homology.
