RAP1B is a small GTPase of the Ras-related family that toggles between active GTP-bound and inactive GDP-bound states to regulate integrin signaling, cell adhesion, platelet activation, and vesicle trafficking. The Antibodies.com Anti-RAP1B Antibody is a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against this widely expressed GTPase, supplied as 50 µL of unconjugated IgG serum for working dilutions in both western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows.

Validated on human, mouse, and rat samples, the antibody supports studies of cytoskeletal dynamics, receptor clustering at the plasma membrane, and GTPase cycling in hematopoietic and endothelial cells. Researchers investigating integrin-mediated adhesion, focal adhesion turnover, or RAS-superfamily crosstalk use this reagent to probe endogenous RAP1B in lysates by western blot and to localize it in fixed tissue sections by IHC. The polyclonal format increases the chance of recognising multiple epitopes on the 21 kDa GTPase, which is useful when probing orthologs across species such as human, mouse, and rat.

The antibody is supplied as a liquid aliquot and should be handled according to standard immunoreagent practice, with aliquoting recommended to limit freeze-thaw cycles of the stock. It is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
