RAP1B is a small Ras-related GTPase that cycles between active GTP-bound and inactive GDP-bound states, acting as a molecular switch in integrin signaling, cell adhesion, migration, and platelet activation pathways. This polyclonal antibody, raised in rabbit and of the IgG isotype, recognizes endogenous RAP1B protein in samples from human, mouse, and rat origin and is supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated reagent.
The antibody is validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry applications, making it suited to studies examining RAP1B expression in cell lysates and tissue sections. Each vial contains 200 µl of liquid antiserum; the product should be kept frozen and protected from light, with researchers encouraged to prepare small aliquots to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
