Anti-RAN Antibody

Raised in rabbit against the RAN protein, this polyclonal reagent recognizes a highly conserved Ras-related nuclear GTPase (~25 kDa) that drives receptor-mediated nucleocytoplasmic transport, mitotic spindle assembly, and nuclear envelope reassembly at mitosis. Researchers use it to probe importin-dependent cargo shuttling, track nuclear pore complex components, and study perturbations linked to cancer cell proliferation and viral replication.

Validated across multiple applications including WB, IHC, IF, IP, and RIP, the antibody detects endogenous RAN in human, mouse, and rat samples. The unconjugated IgG is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% Sodium Azide and 50% glycerol, and should be stored at -20°C in single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles. Each vial contains 50 µl of reagent.
