Receptor Activity-Modifying Protein 3 (RAMP3) is a single-pass transmembrane accessory protein that partners with class B G protein-coupled receptors to dictate ligand specificity, surface trafficking, and recycling kinetics. Encoded on human chromosome 7p13, RAMP3 co-assembles with calcitonin receptor-like receptor (CLR) to generate the AM1 adrenomedullin receptor, and with the calcitonin receptor (CTR) to form the AMY3 amylin receptor, while a C-terminal PDZ-binding motif enables interaction with NHERF and PSD-95 scaffolds that route the complex back to the plasma membrane after internalisation.

This Antibodies.com reagent is an unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against RAMP3, supplied at 100 µl for use in western blot (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF) applications on human samples. Researchers studying GPCR pharmacology, adrenomedullin and amylin signalling, cardiovascular biology, glucose homeostasis, or receptor endocytic recycling typically deploy this antibody to probe RAMP3 expression in transfected cell lines and primary tissue lysates. Store refrigerated at the temperature stated on the accompanying data sheet, protect from light, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve the unconjugated Ig fraction.
