Anti-RAMP2 Antibody

Antibodies.com offers a Rabbit polyclonal antibody to RAMP2 (Receptor Activity-Modifying Protein 2), supplied unconjugated and validated for Western blot (WB), with selected variants also validated for immunohistochemistry (IHC). The antibody is raised in rabbit and purified by affinity chromatography, with reported purity greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE. Reactivity is demonstrated against Human and Mouse samples, with several variants additionally reactive with Rat tissue. The isotype is IgG.

The immunogen varies by variant and includes a recombinant full-length human RAMP2 protein, a synthetic peptide of human RAMP2, and a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 1-145 of human RAMP2. The molecular weight of the target is reported as approximately 20 kDa in one source and 15 kDa in another. The antibody is supplied at 1 mg/mL (lot-specific concentration for some variants) in PBS with 50% glycerol and 0.02–0.1% sodium azide, and is shipped at 4 °C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. Recommended working dilutions are 1:500–1:2,000 for WB and 1:50–1:200 for IHC.
