Anti-RAMP1 Antibody

Raised in rabbit against a fusion protein derived from internal residues of human Receptor activity-modifying protein 1 (RAMP1), this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as an unconjugated IgG at 0.4 mg/mL in a 100 µL volume. The antibody is purified by antigen affinity chromatography and formulated in PBS (pH 7.3) containing 0.05% sodium azide and 50% glycerol; it is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. It is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry and detects endogenous levels of total RAMP1 in human and mouse samples, making it suitable for studies of GPCR activity-modifying protein biology in cardiovascular, neuronal, and endocrine contexts. Performance data on the supplier page show a clear band on12% SDS-PAGE using 40 µg of mouse testis lysate at a 1/200 primary dilution with an 8,000-fold diluted secondary, plus specific staining on paraffin-embedded human thyroid cancer tissue at 1/10.
