RAG2 (Recombination Activating Gene 2) is a lymphoid-specific endonuclease that acts with RAG1 to initiate V(D)J recombination, the somatic DNA rearrangement responsible for assembling functional immunoglobulin and T-cell receptor genes. Because this process underpins adaptive immunity, RAG2 is a focal target in studies of B- and T-cell development, lymphoma biology, and primary immunodeficiency syndromes such as SCID and Omenn syndrome.

Distributed by Antibodies.com, this unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against human RAG2 and is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows on human samples. The 100 µl format is supplied as a single-use vial suitable for multiple immunoblots or staining experiments, and the unconjugated presentation allows investigators to pair it with their preferred secondary antibody and detection chemistry. Researchers studying V(D)J recombination, lymphoid lineage commitment, and immune repertoire formation can apply it to track endogenous RAG2 expression across developmental stages and disease models. For research use only.
